WP1: Project Management and Coordination
This Work Package ensures the proper, timely, and high-quality implementation of the Project. It covers financial and administrative management, continuous monitoring of both physical and financial progress, as well as internal communication among the project partners.
It also includes compliance with the rules of the Interreg VI-A Greece–Cyprus Programme, the preparation of progress reports, and the management of risks or potential delays.
WP2: Project Communication and Dissemination
This Work Package focuses on the visual identity, publicity, and dissemination of the Project results. Its objective is to enhance the Project’s visibility and to inform the public, competent authorities, and professionals in the field.
It includes the development of the Project website, the production of communication material (leaflets, videos), social media management, as well as the organization of events, workshops, and demonstration activities.
WP3: Development of Joint Solutions in Greece and Cyprus for Improving Energy Efficiency in Cultural and Historic Building Infrastructure
This Work Package constitutes the scientific core of the Project. It focuses on the development of a joint technical methodology between Greece and Cyprus for the energy upgrading of cultural buildings.
It includes the mapping, categorization, and evaluation of monuments based on their use, geographical location, and energy needs.
The main output is the Joint Methodology Guide, which describes appropriate energy-saving measures, technical specifications, and evaluation standards.
WP4: Pilot Testing of Joint Solutions in Greece and Cyprus for Improving Energy Efficiency in Cultural and Historic Building Infrastructure
This Work Package αφορά την implementation of the joint solutions in real buildings located in Mykonos, Rethymno, and Nicosia.
On-site interventions are carried out at each location, including the collection of energy data and the assessment of the effectiveness of the proposed technical solutions.
The results serve as reference models for future energy upgrading interventions in other monuments.
WP5: Action Plans for New Projects in Greece and Cyprus for Improving Energy Efficiency in Cultural and Historic Building Infrastructure
This Work Package aims at the long-term exploitation of the Project results. Based on the experience gained from the pilot actions, 20 Preliminary Action Plans are developed for energy interventions in new cultural buildings.
These action plans support the replication and future implementation of energy upgrading measures in cultural and historic infrastructure.
