The Interreg VI-A Greece–Cyprus Programme 2021–2027 is part of European Territorial Cooperation and aims to strengthen cross-border cooperation between Greece and Cyprus. Its main objective is to promote sustainable development, social cohesion, and economic resilience in the eligible area through joint actions and solutions in fields of common interest.
The Programme is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and national resources of both countries, supporting projects that enhance innovation, energy efficiency, environmental protection, and the valorisation of cultural heritage.
The Managing Authority (MA) for the Interreg Programmes 2021–2027 is responsible for the management, monitoring, and control of the implementation of Interreg Programmes in Greece, ensuring compliance with the European Union regulatory framework and the proper use of available resources.
